MENS MINISTRY

"Go and start a men's ministry". These were the words that hounded me one night back around 1994.

I called my pastor and he came to my house and prayed for me. He arranged for me to speak to the men of the church that week. He was supportive of me. I left the church some time later as I moved out of the area.

Then I heard that that pastor had taken his life by suicide. It was devastating news for so many. He had a good wife and family. They loved him. How could this happen? The secrets of a man's heart!

Proverbs 18v1

"A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment."

Often a man needs confrontation to change. I have had to face some big thngs in my life.

Pride, fear and male relationships are areas we are weak at. When you get men relating and growing together it is a powerful thing.
